Edge series is Dean`s ticket for the major league of bass guitar market. It ranges from the basic four-stringed beginner models and stretches all the way to the high-end instruments with price tags well over $1,000. Edge 1-09 is the main line of the Edge segment and Edge 09 is one of it`s main four-string models. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood (basswood is the main tone wood for the basic Edge models). Chrome-plated bridge on the top has four saddles and it`s fronted with a single humbucker pickup in the middle position. Master volume and tone knobs make up the controls section. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
