Like the Edge 2, Edge 3 offers basic Edge features & specs (which are, in turn, Edge 1 plus neck pickup), but with active electronics. The first Edge 3 model, (named just Edge 3) has been introduced at this year`s (2017) NAMM. It features MSRP of $599.00 (and price of $399.00).
Edge 3 starts off like any other affordable Edge bass, with a solid, flat-top basswood body. Players can choose between three vibrant color variants (with metallic finishes, chrome hardware and matching headstocks), all featuring the same wood, hardware and electronics options. C-shaped maple neck and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard are also among core Edge features.
Hardware and electronics departments boast a four-saddled hardtail bridge, two active DMT Design MM-Style humbuckers and die-cast tuners.
