Trans Black Satin
Dean Edge 5 Flame Top is one of two Edge series basses introduced at 2016 NAMM, and the only five-stringer. It is an affordable bass with modern design, DMT electronics and 24-fret fingerboard.
Edge 5 Flame Top kicks off with a solid and carved mahogany body with a two-piece flamed maple top. The only color option this five-stringed Edge is available is Trans Black Satin. The neck is made of maple, it features C profile in the back and a rosewood fingerboard on top. Medium-sized frets, abalone inlays, 34" scale and plastic string nut complete the fingerboard. DMT Series Soapbar pickups come in with an extended controls unit (three-band EQ, volume, balance and mini-switch). Top-load ABM bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
