Edge series is one of the most versatile lines of electric basses in Dean Guitars catalog. It`s split into several sub-series and the main one, the Edge 1/09 offers the full range of popular string configurations. This means that the players can find four, five and even six-string basses in this series. Edge 6 is one of several six-string models and this big boy means business. Solid and double-cut basswood body has no maple top (unlike it`s sibling Q6) and aims at players who prefer performance over looks. Hardtail bridge on the top has six saddles and it`s topped with a pair of extra large and extra strong humbuckers. Maple neck is made of maple and it`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
