AX104 is a model from the LTD Standard AX series of electric basses. This one is the intermediate four-string option in the series and it ranks above the AX54, which is the series opener. This is an affordable electric bass with modern Warlock-like body made of basswood. It features beveled edges and bolt-on neck joint. AX104 also features the series standard deep cutaway which, in combination with the U contour on the neck, gives fantastic accessibility to upper frets. AX104 is equipped with a standard hardtail bridge with four saddles and chrome plating. Pickups on this model are installed in the standard H/H pattern and are controlled through a standard set of volume and tone knobs. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.

The AX-104 is great bass to play.It looks Evil but its not a metal-exclusive bass it can be used for jazz/blues just as well. Its a bit heavy and without proper care it cause chipping on the edges,The chipping problem is the only bad part about this great bass Good value for money. Its a good bass for any metal oriented bassist for a budget with quality of an ESP
