Bunny Brunel is one of the greatest bass players of today and a player with multiple signature series. One of his most successful signature series is ESP LTD line of upper intermediate class four and five-strings. BB-1005QM is the series` update introduced at 2015 Summer NAMM in Nashville, Tennessee. It comes with a solid an double-cut body made of alder back and quilt maple top. There are two color options available - Black Aqua and Black Orange. Both have glossy finish and black hardware. Maple neck runs through the body and has the series` standard asymmetrical contour. ESP installs an ebony fingerboard on its top. Set of 24 extra jumbo frets, offset dot inlays and 15.75" radius complete the fingerboard. Aguilar pickups drive this five-string beast. 5J HC in the bridge and AG 5M in the middle position are passive, but the preamp installed with them is active. Master volume (with push/pull), balance pot, bass/treble (stacked) and separate mid control (with push/pull) make up the controls unit. Hipshot bridge is installed behind the pickups. It is paired with a set of Hipshot tuners on the headstock (extender is installed on the lowest tuner).
