Who says that the bass is a boring instrument and that the evolution of bass design has ended with Precision, Jazz, Thunderbird and 4001? ESP sure doesn`t. To prove their point of view, people over at ESP have created the magnificent F series of electric basses with solid bodies and huge tone. F 104 is the series opener. It is a simple four-stringer with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood in it`s entirety. Top of the body features beveled edges and a basic hardware configuration. Four-saddled bridge with hardtail construction and chrome plating is fronted by a pair of active humbuckers with split volume and tone knobs. Maple neck is bolted to the body and is topped with a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
