LTD FB-208 is one of three LTD signature models made for Frank Bello of Anthrax (there`s also the fourth one - the ESP Frank Bello which is the top model of the entire Frank Bello signature series). As opposed to the rest of its series compadres, FB-208 rocks eight strings. it still acts as a regular four-string as all four regular bass strings are doubled with thinner strings. So, instead of picking, popping, tapping and slapping one string at a time, players of this amazing instrument will play two strings at once. This adds a completely new dimension to the classic bass tone and opens up a brand new world of possibilities. Solid and double-cut body of this super-modern looking LTD is made of basswood and is paired with a maple/rosewood neck with a regular U profile in the back. Carved basswood body is topped with a proper eight-string tune-o-matic bridge with a stoptail bar behind it. Pickups featured in the front are ESP Designed SB-5 soapbar pickups. Master volume, balance knob and 3-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls. Five-piece maple/rosewood neck is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. LTD`s tuning machines wrap the specs list.
