RB series is a medium-sized line of affordable electric basses focused on tonal versatility and playability. Natural color of the beautiful maple tops, incomplete 22nd frets and passive/active electronics are RB series` hallmarks. RB-1006SM is one of series` two six-string models. This one comes with a swamp ash back and spalted maple top instead of swamp ash/burl maple combo featured on 1006BM. Neck on this six-string beast is bolted to the body. It is made of five maple and walnut laminates and has the classic C profile in the back. 22-fret fingerboard on its top is made of maple. Passive Aguilar pickups matched with an active OBP-2 equalizer give a ton of options and possibilities. Hardtail Gotoh bridge and Grover tuners complete the hardware section.
