Surveyor is a line of solid and double-cut basses with a modernized Precision Bass design. This series is oriented towards the players who like the classic looks of the Fender`s legend, but also like ESP/LTD`s modern styling. Tone-wise, this series caters to the needs of modern rock and metal players (general style of both the ESP and LTD catalogs is leaning towards metal music). Surveyor 400 is no exception and it represents Surveyor series intermediate four-string option. Body of Surveyor 400 is solid, double-cut and made of ash. It has a standard four-saddle hardtail bridge on the top, as well as a set of active humbucking pickups. Maple neck is fit with a regular U contour in the back and it`s topped with a 21-fret fingerboard (both rosewood and maple are available).
