American Standard series is the showcase of what is actually Fender all about. Supreme build quality, top-shelf materials, vintage design and simplicity. Bass side of this prestigious series is dominated by two legends, their majesties, the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. Besides them, one might think, there is not much room, but, one would be wrong. Very wrong, for Fender bass division stretches far beyond the J and P. For 2015, American Standard is being updated with a brand new American Standard Dimension Bass IV HH. It is a smooth and powerful four-stringer with a modern and versatile tone and a fantastic design. Alder body of this model is solid, flat and double-cut. It is paired with an asymmetrical C maple neck to form the classic Fender base. Hardtail bridge on the top has four adjustable saddles and chrome plating. In it`s front, Fender installs a pair of Dimension series humbucking pickups, one in the bridge and one in the middle position. Two volume knobs, which double as a pickup selector, and a master tone knob complete the controls. 21-fret maple fingerboard with a compound 9.50"-14" radius and vintage Fender tuners wrap up the specs list.
