Gibson`s electric bass range is divided into several ranges, with EB, Thunderbird, SG and LP being the main ones. EB series is the only one among four which has not been based off of a pre-existing Gibson Guitars electric guitar series.
EB Bass 4-String 2017 T is one of two Traditional range electric basses for 2017. It comes in at $999 and brings a smart mix of vintage and modern Gibson features. Solid and offset body of this affordable four-stringer is made of swamp ash and it`s paired with a set-in maple neck. Rounded profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top complete the neck.
Main hardware and electronics features include a hardtail Babicz Full Contact bridge, Grover tuners and EB humbucker pickups (with reduced controls unit).
