Spalted Maple
G&L, as a brand has a similar concept to Fender, but it also features some significant difference. This one was created after Leo Fender`s departure from Fender and it`s models, both the electric basses and guitars sport the styling and construction Leo Fender desired for his first brand. L-2000 Spalted Maple is one of the most luxurious basses in G&L catalog. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of ash back and spalted maple top. Flat-top design, bolt-on neck joint construction and Precision-like curves are some of the most significant L-2000 features. On the top, there is a hardtail bridge with two full-sized humbucking pickups in it`s front. Maple neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
