The brand new Dorchester Bass series brings a fresh take on the classic short-scale bass concept. Chambered bodies, 30" scales, vintage styling, and mighty pickups are the series` main weapons. Of course, like its older siblings, Dorchester line boasts supreme build quality. Currently, there are two available models, both four-stringers. Dorchester 4 String Solid Body Bass Black RN rocks a double-cut and offset body (basswood base, maple top, carved top), bolt-on neck joint, Godin pickups (two ceramic passive Kingpin P-90 pickups), chrome-plated hardware. Black (w/gloss finish, black pickguard, black plastics, matching headstock) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a solid maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.5" Graphtech nut w/zero fret, 12" radius), two-piece hardtail bridge, and vintage tuners.
