G6073 is one of several electric basses produced by Gretsch Guitars. Despite it`s fame and reputation being built on the production of vintage-styled guitars, Gretsch does more than a decent job with the basses. There are nine models in current lineup of the bass section and all nine are made with the same level of dedication and care their six-string siblings receive. G6073 Electrotone is a single-cut bass with semi-hollow construction and vintage design. Entire body is made of laminated maple, while the set-in neck is made of solid maple. Adjust-o-matic bridge is backed up by a trapezoid tailpiece and fronted with a pair of humbuckers with a standard set of controls. 22-fret fingerboard on the top is made of rosewood.
