Artcore range offers a wide selection of hollow and semi-hollow guitars, divided into numerous sub-series. The range started back in 2002 as a small line of hollow-bodied guitars made for jazz players and has grown since into one of the pillars of Ibanez catalog.
AS73G is one of the latest additions to the Artcore roster, belonging to its eponymous sub-series. It comes in two variants - Black Flat and Mint Blue. Core construction features include laminated maple body (arched back, thinline sides and arched top), mahogany neck (AS profile, satin finish, set-in joint), and rosewood fingerboard (22 medium-sized frets, 1.69" bone nut, 24-7/10" scale, block inlays, white binding).
Main hardware and electronics features include a two-piece ART-1/Quick Change III bridge unit and Classic Elite pickups.
