GSR series is a part of the GIO range, Ibanez`s beginner segment. All of the models featured within its roster are based on the standard models in serial production. GSR is SR`s beginner section, and it offers solid-bodied basses with full-length scales, passive electronics and fast necks.
GSR206 comes in with six-string construction, flat-top SR body, Ibanez electronics and Ibanez hardware. The body is made of mahogany (a rare feat in the under $300 class) and is combined with a bolt-on maple neck. GSR-contoured neck rocks a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on its top. Pair of Dynamix H humbucker pickups is controlled through a standard set of knobs (2x volume, master tone, Phat II EQ knob). B16 bridge and die-cast tuners wrap the list of major features.
