Peter Iwers of In Flames is currently one of the most influential bass players around. His skills on five-stringed basses are already a stuff of legend. Long year fidelity to Ibanez basses and status within the metal community have granted Peter his own signature series of electric basses in Ibanez catalog. It currently consists of PIB1 and PIB2 models. This review is dedicated to the PIB1. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of maple. It is slightly carved on the top and has a bolt-on joint. Five-saddled monorail bridge is installed on the top of the body. In it`s front, there are two passive Bartolini humbuckers. Neck is made of maple and bubinga for this model and it features a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
