SR505 is positioned around the middle of the SR series (SR standing for Sound Gear) and it proudly offers five strings, versatile tone (anything from tender whispers to deadly growls) and super solid build quality. 505 is a solid and double-cut bass with modern design and smooth styling. Body of this versatile rocker is made of mahogany and it`s paired with a jatoba/bubinga neck. Brown Mahogany with satin finish and black hardware is the main color scheme for this model. Bridge section on it`s top is equipped with a series standard hardtail bridge with five saddles. Soapbar pickups are accompanied by a standard controls unit. The neck is made of five pieces of wood and is topped with a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
