SR Premium series is located halfway between the affordable SR Standard and the luxurious SR Prestige, filling the huge gap between them with a dozen or so tiers at every given moment (tiers currently range from 1400 to 2600). The new 2018 lineup of the SR Premium series brings forth several new models, as well as several reissues. SR1405 is a reissue of the last year`s 1405E. The color palette of the new model offers Glacial White (w/gold hardware, natural binding, abalone inlays, black plastics). Core construction features include a solid and double-cut SR body (mahogany base, flame maple top), a 5-piece panga panga/purpleheart neck, a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard (34" scale, 1.77" nut, 12" radius), a Monorail bridge, Nordstrand pickups, and Gotoh tuners.
