SR Standard`s tier 300 is the most affordable and the most basic SR tier featured in Ibanez`s regular catalog. All the models below 300 belong to the famous GIO range and its GSR series. 300s set the tone for the entire SR Standard series in terms of performance, design, as well as hardware and electronics. The new SR306EB is a refreshed variant of a six-stringed 300 model introduced a couple of years ago. It is available only in Weathered Black (w/matte finish, black hardware, black plastics). Main construction features include a solid and double-cut mahogany body, a 5-piece maple/walnut neck, a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard (2.16" nut, 34" scale, 15.75" radius), an Accu-Cast B126 bridge, PowerSound pickups, and die-cast tuners.
