Traditionally, 800 is the top tier of SR`s Standard series, a tier where Premium series features are blended with the Standard series base. SR875 is a brand new 800 five-stringer. It was launched at 2018 NAMM, along with the rest of the Ibanez novelties. Currently, available color options include Blue Reef Gradation and Brown Topaz Burst Flat, both of which have black hardware, black plastics, and abalone inlays. Also, both color options come with matching headstock veneers made of flamed maple. Core construction appointments include a solid and double-cut mahogany body (flame maple/walnut top), a jatoba/walnut neck (SR5 profile, bolt-on joint), a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard (34" scale, 12" radius, 1.77" nut), Accu-Cast B505 bridge, Bartolini BH2 pickups, and die-cast tuners.
