Ibanez TMB2000
Talman Bass Electric Bass Guitars by Ibanez
Talman Bass Electric Bass Guitars by Ibanez
Talman is a big, diverse range, rooted in three big segments of Ibanez catalog - electric guitar, electric bass and acoustic guitar. All of the models in the vast Talman range share the same, single-cut body design and vintage Fender-like styling. Electric guitar and electric bass segments have been heavily updated at 2016 NAMM. Bass section has received seven new models, including the first ever Talman Bass models of the Prestige class. TMB2000 is made in Japan and features the finest appointments Talman series has to offer. These include carefully picked tonewoods, Nordstrand pickups and top-shelf Gotoh hardware. Tri Fade Burst, Blue Zilcon and Antique White Blonde are available color options.
TMB2000 starts off with a rather simple base. It is made up of a flat-top alder body and a bolt-on neck made of plain maple. The body is topped with a vintage tortoise pickguard, while the C-shaped neck rocks a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, 1-5/8" nut and 9.84" radius. Nordstrand`s NJ4 in the bridge and NP4 in the middle position come with a unique Talman bass controls layout and a huge range of tonal possibilities. Gotoh`s 203b-4 bridge and deluxe tuners complete the simple, yet impressive specs list.
