Italia Guitars have a wide range of vintage-styled guitars and basses in their catalog. All of these models are loosely based upon actual models popular in the '50s and '60s. The fact that they are designed by Trev Wilkinson speaks a lot in favor of the quality and tone of these guitars. Imola Bass is a fully hollow bodied bass guitar with a 34" scale. A rare bird among electric basses, indeed. It comes with a double cutaway body with vintage styling and it`s made of korina wood. Top panel features one "f" hole and it is almost entirely covered with the pickguard. Black and Tobacco Sunburst are color options available for this model and they are both finished in high gloss. Bridge section features a hardtail bridge with combination of chrome and gold plating. Pickups installed on this model are jazz-styled single coils in both bridge and neck positions. Volume and tone knobs comprise the controls section. Neck is made of hard rock maple and it features a bolt-on joint. It is topped with a rosewood-made fingerboard. 22 medium jumbo frets feature no inlays. Modern shaped tuning machines complete the specs list for this Imola bass.
