JS3QM Concert Bass is one of three bass models introduced by Jackson at this year`s NAMM show. Also, it is one of two Concert basses with JS badge in the name. JS is one of Jackson`s affordable tiers and aims at players who can not afford an expensive, professional instrument. JS3QM has four-string construction and a classic Concert body contour. Body of this model is made of basswood back with quilted maple top. Top is flat and has no binding, or pickguard. Jackson pairs the body of this model with a bolted maple neck. Maple is one of the most frequently used neck materials when the body is made of basswood. Series standard contour is featured in the back of the neck and it`s topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Jumbo frets, shark tooth inlays and compound radius are featured on the fingerboard, making this one super easy to play. Scale is 34" long. Bridge section features high mass bridge with strings running through the body underneath it. Four saddles featured on this bridge are adjustable. Pickups installed in the front are made by Jackson. They are passive, though the electronics are active.
