Thru-Neck 5 is the regular, fretted variant of the amazing Thru-Neck 5 Fretless model, which makes it the second of two five-string basses in the Helix series. Helix also features three four-stringers (two with neck-through construction and one with a bolted neck). Thru-Neck 5 is a solid and double-cut bass with a carved top and neck-through construction. It is made of mahogany wings and a maple neck. Thru-Neck 5 shares the color palette with it`s series mates. Pickups department is fit with a standard pair of humbucking pickups with a set of over-sized control knobs. Behind the pickups, Lace installs a five-saddled hardtail bridge. Neck on this model is made of several maple laminates and is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
