Michael Kelly`s Element series leans heavily on Jazz Bass heritage, sporting four and five-stringed models with the classic offset design. Currently, the series is made up of two "Q" models (regular models with quilt tops) and two Custom Collection models (the more expensive side of the roster). Element 4Q starts off with a solid, offset body, passive electronics, regular 34" scale and chrome hardware. Aged Cherryburst (w/gloss finish) is the only available color option. Core construction features include a solid alder body, quilt maple top (two-piece construction, classic pickguard), maple neck (bolt-on joint, 2+2 headstock), and rosewood fingerboard (21 frets, dot inlays, 9.5" radius, 1.63" bone nut). Main electronics & hardware appointments include a pair of Rockfield single-coil pickups, a string-through hardtail bridge, and die-cast tuners.
