FB700 is the flagship electric bass in Mitchell Guitars catalog. It comes in three main variants - four-stringed (FB700), five-stringed (FB705) and six-stringed (FB706). 700 series offers full-sized humbucker pickups, 24 frets, a fast neck and great build quality. FB700 starts off with a solid, carved-top body, made of mahogany base and AAA quilt maple top. No binding, no pickguard on top. 700 is the only one of three options which comes in two color variants - Natural and Black (others are only available in Natural). Five-piece neck is bolted to the body and is made of rock maple and rosewood. It features the shallow D profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Pair of MB4 humbuckers offers a huge range of tonal options, mainly thanks to the well-made three-band EQ. Hardtail bridge and modern die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
