Saratoga and CRB series from the traditional side of the MTD Kingston range. These two series are based on two of the Fender`s legends, Precision and Jazz Bass. CRB was inspired by the Precision, while the Saratoga took after the curvy and elegant Jazz Bass. Offset waist design, simple construction and dual single-coil sets of pickups are the hallmarks of the Saratoga series. Saratoga 4 is the basic model of the series. Solid and double-cut body of this model is made entirely of basswood, while the bolted neck is made of a single piece of maple. Four-saddle hardtail bridge is fronted by a pair of single-coil pickups with a reduced controls unit (two volumes and one tone). Maple neck is topped with a 21-fret fingerboard (maple and rosewood are available materials).
