Stingray series offers classic Music Man design, oversized pickups and a huge variety of color schemes. There are four and five-string models, as well as fretted and fretless ones. Fingerboards on fretted models are usually made of rosewood, while the ones on the fretless basses are made of pao ferro. 21 is the standard fret count on the fretted Stingray models. Stingray Slo Special HH comes with a solid and double-cut hardwood body and bolted maple neck. On the top, there are two full-sized humbucking pickups, instead of one (one humbucker is the series standard). Elaborate controls unit is installed next to them, while in the back, there`s a chrome-plated bridge with four saddles. Maple neck is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
