PRS is a brand of exclusive electric guitars and basses. Also, their acoustic program includes some pretty exclusive entries. There are only several electric basses in PRS catalog and they all belong to the Gary Grainger signature series. The first on the list is the Private Stock 4 String. It is the top four-stringer of the series. Solid and double-cut, the body of this model is made of ash back and figured maple top. Top is carved and features gold-plated monorail bridge with four saddles. In the front, PRS installs a pair of humbucking pickups with an extended controls section. This grants the players fantastic versatility and a ton of options. Set in neck is made of maple and it features the custom Gary Grainger contour. 24-fret fingerboard on the top is made of Indian rosewood.
