Diamond Series is made by Schecter for all the players in search for reliable and affordable basses with vintage styling. Diamonds come in four and five-string variants, offering 21-fret fingerboards, standard 34" scales, solid bodies and bolted necks. Electronics departments offer J/J and J/P configurations of the pickups. Diamond J models have J/J pickups combo, while the Diamond P Custom models have J/P combo. Diamond P Custom 5 is the only five-string model in the entire series and it comes with a solid, double-cut alder body. On it`s top, Schecter installs a standard five-saddled bridge with chrome plating. Aforementioned pickups are installed in the J/P pattern. Bolted maple neck is topped with a series standard 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
