Diamond Plus series is a brand new installment into the classic Diamond range of vintage-styled electric basses made by Schecter. Diamond-P Plus is the basic P (P stands for Precision) model of the Plus series. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of alder or swamp ash, depending on the color scheme (black one is made of alder, while the burst option features a flamed maple top over a swamp ash body). Both versions feature a bolt-on maple neck with a thin C profile in the back and a 20-fret fingerboard on the top (maple fingerboard on the sunburst version and the rosewood on black), vintage Grover tuners and Precision-like headstock are also featured on this marvelous four-stringer. But, what really sets the Diamond Plus basses apart from the competition is their electronics. P Plus comes with a pair of Seymour Duncans (MM SMB-4D in the bridge and Quarter Pound SPB-3 in the middle position). Master volume knob has a series-parallel push/pull toggle switch), 4-position rotary pickup switch (position 1 - bridge; position 2 - bridge & middle in parallel; position 3 - bridge & middle in series; position 4 - middle pickup alone). Two-piece EQ is driven by a battery compartment made up of two 9v batteries.
