JD is a man who needs no introduction at all, as he is the man behind the thundering groove of LA`s heavy-weight champions, Black Label Society. Zack Wylde, JD and the company are reigning supreme with a unique combo of classic heavy metal, blues and sludge metal. JD`s task is not a simple one, as he has to set the groove for all the various shades and moods of Black Label`s music. Thus, the natural choice is a signature bass. JD`s signature is made by Schecter Guitars and it is a solid, double-cut bass made of mahogany wings and maple/walnut neck. Hardtail bridge on the top is fronted with a pair of EMG-HZ 35 humbuckers. 24-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
