Nikki Sixx is one of the most legendary musicians of the 1980 and the entire glam rock and glam metal movement. His bass talent and prowess could only be matched by his own talent for trouble, as he became the iconic trouble maker. Now, thirty years later, Nikki is still a very successful musician and businessman. He is a long time Schecter devotee and Schecter decided to reward his fidelity with a signature model. It`s name is Nikki Sixx Schecter Bass. It comes with a solid, flat Thnderbird-like body made of mahogany. Body is flat on the top and features no excessive decorations. Top side is partially covered with a classic pickguard. This model is only available in satin black color scheme. Hardware is plated in black chrome and it`s most prominent feature is Schecter Custom bridge with four saddles. Each player decides between the top-load and string-through construction options. Pickups are supplied by EMG and come i J/P configuration. Two volumes, one tone and one killswitch comprise the controls unit. Maple/walnut neck runs through the body and it`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Extra jumbo frets, Grover tuners and 34" scale complete the specs list.
