Compared to the majority of Schecter`s electric basses, Raidens have a somewhat conservative body design, though the hardware and electronics are fully up to date. Raiden is separated into several sub-divisions, namely: Deluxe, Special, Custom and Elite. Elite section represents the top of the Raiden range and offers the best four and five-stringers. Elite 5 is the king of the hill in this series and it comes with a solid, double-cut mahogany body with quilted top. EMG`s mighty MMhz pickups with black covers are installed in both the bridge and middle positions. Separate volume and tone knobs are installed for each pickup. Behind them, there`s a modern hardtail bridge with five adjustable saddles. Bolted maple neck has a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
