Stiletto Studio series is made a line of solid-bodied electric basses made by Schecter Guitars and it is a part of a much larger Stiletto range. Besides the Studio, there are Deluxe, Extreme, Elite and Custom series, as well. Each of them has a different set of key features and different player profile they`re designed for. Stiletto Studio is made for mostly metal and hard rock players who want to upgrade and buy a reliable instrument with versatile tone and great build quality. This six-stringer comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany back and maple top. On the top, there is a six-saddled hardtail bridge with a pair of EMG humbuckers sitting in the front. Maple and walnut neck is bolted to the body and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.

Great bass. I chose it over a Warwick corvette basic 6, because the Warwick is more for slap and "traditional" style playing whereas I play more classical influenced music. The studio 6 has a rich warm sounds that's not too bright. Perfect bass for the price. If you're reading this trying to decide than I'd say do it. If you're more in to slap or funk or jazz, then consider the above mentioned Warwick for only a couple hundred more. I've had several basses in my life and this would have to be my favorite. P. S. Get the black version bedside it's way cooler.
