Squier`s Contemporary series is there for younger players and all those who feel that way. Like the majority of Fender/Squier series, it`s got both electric guitar and electric bass wings. As usual, the guitar wing is bigger and more numerous. Nonetheless, Contemporary`s bass wing still offers some amazing options. Contemporary Active Jazz Bass HH is the only four-stringed Contemporary model with active electronics. Main features include a solid and double-cut poplar body, bolt-on neck construction, SQR humbucking pickups, and modern hardware. Available color options include Flat Black and Flat White (gloss finish, black chrome hardware). Other notable features include a solid maple neck (modern C profile, satin finish), 20-fret fingerboard made of Indian laurel, four-saddled hardtail bridge, and open-gear tuners.
