Vintage Modified is a very interesting series, as it offers a set of four and five-stringed basses with vintage styling and modern tone. Classic design of Fender`s Precision, Jazz and other basses are crossed with construction and electronics suited for a contemporary player who plays modern music. Vintage Modified Jazz Bass Fretless is a solid and double-cut bass with 34" scale, bolted neck and fretless fingerboard. It`s body is made of agathis (along with alder and basswood, agathis is the standard body wood) and paired with a standard maple neck. On the top of the body, there is a four-saddled bridge with chrome plating and a pair of single-coil pickups with standard controls. Maple neck on this model is topped with an ebony fingerboard.
