Vintage Modified series is a line that combines some of the most popular vintage features with modern construction. It stretches on both the guitar and bass departments of the catalog and offers high quality instruments in both segments. This series is also one of the top lines of the Squier catalog, along with Artist and Deluxe series. The Vintage Modified series is getting an overhaul for 2013 and several basses are being introduced into the lineup. One of them is the 2013 Vintage Modified Precision Bass V. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood, which is series standard body wood. It is paired with a maple neck with maple fingerboard on top. 34" scale, vintage tuning machines, 9.50" fingerboard radius, chrome-plated hardware and tortoise shell pickguard are featured on this model. High Mass bridge with five saddles is installed on the top and it`s plated in chrome. In it`s front, there is one P pickup in the middle position. It`s equipped with master volume and master tone knobs. Neck on this five-stringer is made of maple and it features C contour in the back. 20-fret fingerboard on it`s top is made of maple. The MSRP is set at $499.99.
