Ray Electric Bass Guitars by Sterling by Music Man
Introduced in 1976, StingRay was one of the first instruments Music Man introduced back in the day. It became an instant classic and has remained in production to this day. Today, premium models are sold under the Music Man brand, while the affordable ones wear the Sterling by Music Man badge. Ray35-KOA is one of the Sterlings. It offers a solid mahogany body with a two-piece koa top, bolt-on neck construction, traditional Music Man electronics layout with a singular bridge pickup, and stock hardware. Sterling sells this one only in Koa Top variant, equipped with chrome-plated hardware, matching headstock overlay, and black pickguard. Other notable features include a hard maple neck with comfortable contour, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with medium-sized frets, five-saddled hardtail bridge, and open-gear tuners.
