This model is one of 2012 catalog updates from Warwick. It is situated in Rockbass division made in China. Corvette Basic 4 Medium Scale has a 32" long scale which falls in between the standard 34/35 and the short 30". This scale length enables the player to feel more comfortable during the play, while still packing the full-size punch. Corvette Basic 4 Medium Scale comes as a solid bodied, double cutaway model with a body made of alder. It has no bindings, pickguards or top wood veneers. This corvette comes in two color options, black with gloss and natural with satin finish. The neck on this model is made of maple with ekanga veneers. It also features a bolt-on joint with four bolts. Rosewood fingerboard is placed upon this neck and it carries 24 frets with no position inlays and a brass string nut. In the bridge section Warwick opted for their own piece of hardware made of two pieces and plated with chrome. Pickups combo is available in two variants. One is passive MEC J/J combo, and the other is active MEC J/J combo. Controls for passive combo include master volume, master balance and two tone knobs. Active pickups have master volume, master balance, master bass and treble knobs.
