Corvette $$ SE Colour Storm Explosion is Warwick`s model from the Custom Shop section of the catalog, and it comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of swamp ash. Swamp ash is the main body wood for Warwick`s basses, as it gives very powerful and defined tone. Corvette models are designed with ergonomically shaped back of the body for the improved comfort of play. This particular model features no top wood veneers and the pickguard is omitted from the specs list, as Warwick favors barren tops. Also, there is no binding around the top on this Corvette. It is available in Colour Explosion, Steelflower and Galaxy options with glossy finish. Bridge section features Warwick`s standard appointment, the two-piece bridge with chrome plating and string-through body construction. Pickups are provided by Warwick`s own electronics brand, the MEC. They come in H/H configuration and are passive ones. This full-sized buckers are controlled through active controls unit, also provided by MEC. Neck is made o ovangkol and it comes with a fast and comfortable contour. This bolted neck is topped with a standard fingerboard made of wenge. This fingerboard is equipped with a traditional set of 24 frets with no inlays. Other features on Corvette $$ SE Colour Storm Explosion include: 34" scale, 20" fingerboard radius and chrome plated hardware.
