There are five different Dragon Corvette models made by Special Editions series for the Spanish market. All of them feature their own tonewoods (only the choice of tonewoods used for the bodies of these simple, yet exclusive $$ Corvette models differ form each other). Red Dragon models are made of ash backs and lacewood tops, which is a unique feat among the members of the Spanish Dragon clan in the Special Editions lineup. Corvette $$ SE Spain Red Dragon 4 is a solid and double-cut model with bolt-on neck construction. Like the rest of the Dragon models, this one is fit with a bolted ovangkol neck inherited from the standard Corvette $$ models. But, instead of having a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of wenge, Dragon models (including this one) are fit with 24-fret ebony fingerboards.
