Corvette Standard FSC Certified 5 reaches down to the low B with it`s extra string and brings sustainable wood philosophy. This ground breaking series of Corvettes is made entirely of sustainable wood supplies. Together with other 2012 novelties, Warwick displayed this model at NAMM Show this January in Anaheim, Ca. Corvette Standard FSC Certified 5 starts off with a solid, double cutaway body which is made of American swamp ash. The top on this five-stringer is free of binding, pickguards and decorative top woods. It only features natural color with gloss finish. In the bridge section, Warwick provides the two-piece bridge with top-load construction. This five-saddle bridge features chrome plating. Pickups on this Corvette are supplied by EMG, and are active single coils, placed in both the bridge and neck position. The electronics for these pickups is MEC 2-way active solution. The neck is made of wenge and it has a smooth, comfy contour in combination with a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is also made of wenge and equipped with 24 jumbo sized frets with no position inlays. Other features on this model include: 34" scale, chrome plated hardware, Warwick tuners and brass string nut.
