Corvette Standard Hot Rod LTD 2005 4 was one of the meanest and leanest Corvette Standard models ever made. This one was all about the raw power and simplicity. Perhaps, the most recognizable feature of this exclusive four-stringer was it`s pickups combo. It featured a pair of P pickups installed in opposite ways. They were active and had a simplified controls unit. Pickups, control knobs and the two-piece bridge were clad in black to contrast the flamed maple top. Top was also bound in black. Base was made of the series standard material - ash. Neck on the Corvette Standard Hot Rod LTD 2005 4 was made of flamed maple, instead of the standard ovangkol. 24-fret maple fingerboard was used to fit the all-maple theme and replace the standard wenge fingerboards.
