Steve Bailey is one of the pioneers of the six-string bass, especially the fretless variant. He was also among the revolutionary players back in the 1960s who have changed the game for good. After Mr Bailey, no bass player was seen in the same light ever again, for he single-handedly raised the bar to new heights. After more than 20 years of retirement, Mr Bailey is back and is now performing with Victor Wooten. His signature line is made by Warwick and is currently fit with two six-string models. Steve Bailey Signature 6 comes with a solid ash body and ovangkol neck with neck-through-body joint. Two-piece bridge and two single-coil pickups are installed on the top. 24-fret snakewood fingerboard is installed on the top.
