Vampyre 5 is the only five-stringed model of the Rockbass Vampyre series. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of alder and a bolted maple/ekanga neck. For Rockbass standards, this is a regular tonewoods combo, while the models made in Korea and Germany feature significantly different tonewood combos (ash, ovangkol and wenge are prevalent on the upscale models). Rockbass Vampyre models also feature more affordable hardware and electronics, while trying to retain as much of the original Warwick quality, as possible. Flat-top Vampyre 5 is topped with a standard chrome-plated Warwick bass and a pair of active pickups installed in the regular H/S configuration. Standard set of controls is featured with them. Maple/ekanga neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
