BB series intermediate class models offer super solid construction, classic design features and versatile tone. 1024 X is the intermediate four-stringer in this series and it comes with a classic alder/maple combination. Ever since Feder embraced this combo in the late 1950s, brands around the world have adopted it, too. This combo gives a strong tone, brighter than Gibson`s all mahogany combo. BB 1024 X benefits from that, for it`s tone gains more force and is able to more easily cut through the mix. Body of this magnificent intermediate four-stringer features flat-top design and bolt-on neck construction. Some of the standard features include a chrome-plated hardtail bridge and two pickups in J/P configuration. 21-fret fingerboard on the neck is made of rosewood.
