John Patitucci is one of the true greats of the jazz and fusion bass, equally proficient with both the electric and stand-up Double bass. Over the course of thirty years, John has worked with such rock, blues and jazz legends as B. B. King, Bon Jovi, Ntalie Cole, Dizzy Gillespie, Chick Corea and many others. His signature line is made by Yamaha and currently consists of only one model, the six-stringed TRBJP2. TRBJP2 is a solid and double-cut bass guitar with body made of layers of maple, ash and alder. On the top, there is a six-saddled hardtail bridge with gold plating. In front of the bridge, Yamaha installs a pair of Alnico V humbucking pickups. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 26-fret ebony fingerboard.
